Behavioral economist studying gender, identity, and discrimination — through experiments, data, and the lens of human behavior.
Originally from Istanbul, I relocated to Berlin in 2016 to pursue a Master's degree in Economics at Humboldt University — marking the start of my academic journey. I went on to complete my Ph.D. at the Berlin School of Economics (BSoE), where my research focus sharpened around behavioral questions of gender and identity.
I am now a postdoctoral researcher at the Halle Institute for Economic Research (IWH), deepening my work in experimental design, behavioral economics, and the use of AI in experimental research — with a strong policy-relevant orientation.
Beyond the lab, I'm drawn to Jung, documentary filmmaking, and long walks with my dog Yuki. A curious and proud nerd, I'm fascinated by the psychological underpinnings of social structures.
I welcome conversations about research collaborations, seminar invitations, media inquiries, or simply exchanging ideas. Feel free to reach out.
